GRIDDLE-PAN WAFFLES WITH CINNAMON BUTTER
Ingredients
35 min 4-6 servings
Preparation
Take 100g of softened Lurpak® and beat together with the honey and cinnamon in a bowl until light and fluffy. Leave to one side.
Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk together with the milk. Sift in the flour, baking power and salt, then whisk until fully combined. Add 150g cooled, melted Lurpak® and gradually stir it through the mixture.
Place a griddle pan on a high heat and add the remaining Lurpak®. Once melted, pour in the batter and spread it around to fill the pan. Lower to a medium-low heat and cook the waffles for about six minutes, until lightly golden on the bottom. Then flip over and cook for a further six minutes. If required, give the waffle an extra minute or two on each side to crisp up.
Serve with a dollop of the cinnamon butter, banana slices and a small handful of walnuts.
